In December 2013 Rabbi Ahron and Chaya Blasberg together with their children moved from NY to Aruba to open and establish the new Chabad Jewish Center of Aruba.

Rabbi Ahron Blasberg was born in NY and grew up in Israel as one of eleven siblings. After graduating high school in Israel he studied in New York and then Sydney, Australia where he received his Rabbinical Ordination. As a young student Rabbi, Ahron spent many summers and holidays traveling to the different corners of the globe to passionately spread his love and warmth of Judaism and Jewish practices to travelers and residents in far off countries.

Chaya (Angyalfi) Blasberg was brought up in Leeds, England and was always actively involved in her parents’ communal role as Chabad Shluchim of Leeds. After studying in Israel and receiving her Diploma in Education, she has worked in schools and youth programming both in the UK and US. She loves working with children and enjoys arranging meaningful youth and adult programs.

Menny, Leah, Ariel, Dena and Dovy add a dimension of their own with their happy smiles and outgoing natures. They love Aruba and greeting people at Chabad.
